Delete your account and data
You can ask us to delete your ClimateSystem HQ account and the data tied to it at any time.
In the app
- Open ClimateSystem HQ and sign in.
- Go to Account.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
By email
If you cannot sign in, or you no longer have the app, email support@climatesystemhq.com from the email address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". We may ask you to confirm the request before we act on it.
What is deleted
- Your profile and sign-in details.
- Photos, files and saved troubleshooting sessions you created.
- For customer app users: the equipment, service requests and contact details you added.
This data is deleted or anonymized.
Company accounts
If you are a member of a company workspace, deleting your personal account removes your profile and sign-in. Business records such as work orders, quotes, invoices and refrigerant log entries belong to your company and stay with the company account. To delete a whole company workspace and its data, a company administrator should email support@climatesystemhq.com. Administrators can request a data export first.
What may be kept
We may keep records we are required to keep for legal, tax, accounting or fraud-prevention reasons, for as long as the law requires. Backups are overwritten on a rolling schedule.
Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription billed through the App Store or Google Play. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings first. Subscriptions billed through Stripe are cancelled when the company account is closed.
